When designing, constructing and specifying this hut, in addition to traditional shepherd’s huts, we took inspiration from other aspects of our history including steam era railways and the wider industrial revolution.Reserve this Hut
Inside is an extremely generous modular living area measuring 4.2m x 4q.250m, providing approximately 20 cubic metres of light and airy space with improved temperature control and airflow thanks to the central roof lantern with double fanlights.
It features a traditional mortice and tenon solid wood frame construction for strength and longevity which in turn has been mounted onto a powder coated steel base frame and castings which come with a lifetime guarantee.
The roof is double skinned using the traditional batten method to aid heat retention, sound proofing and to provide great overall structural strength and integrity.
Warm and Cosy
The hut is fully insulated and comes with instant heat from an electric stove, a 4” double insulated flue plus connection to an external electrical supply.
Style and Finishing
This hut benefits from a full-length clerestory roof lantern finished with a stunning bespoke hand crafted copper roof and detailing, which we believe is the very first of its kind ever to be built. This hut is finished in Farrow & Ball External Eggshell paint – Mouse’s Back and Wimborne White.
